Travis Rice Scores a 95.00 in Hakuba, Japan—Wins Freeride World Tour Stop
You know what they say… if you give Travis Rice a wildcard entry, he is probably going to win. Well, we aren’t sure if that is a saying, but it will be soon. Coming back two years after claiming the top spot at a qualifier stop in Hakuba, Japan, Travis Rice returns to both Hakuba and the podium this week with a first place finish at the first stop of the Freeride World Tour. Scoring a 95.00 on his run, Rice bumped Gigi Ruf down to second (still first overall in the world) and fellow USA rider Davey Baird down to third. On the women’s side, Anna Orlova, Manuela Mandl, and Marion Haerty finished in the top three respectively.
